Job summary

AMD invites motivated Hardware Engineering interns/co-ops to join the Hardware team. You will work with engineers on discrete and embedded hardware products and learn to build applications for external and internal use, plus large-scale systems that improve efficiency.

You will be trained to contribute to pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms, gain real-world experience, and apply skills in C/C++, HDL, and FPGA/board design within a supportive, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a US-based university as an undergrad in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge/experience with C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, MATLAB or related tools is a plus.
• Interest in ASIC design/verification, ML/AI, and hardware development is expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineers on AMD’s discrete and embedded hardware projects.
• Assist in building applications and large-scale systems to improve efficiency of the Hardware organization.
