Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive academic advising and student success support to undergraduate business students, developing individualized academic plans and guiding degree progression.
• Lead and participate in student orientation programs, designing engaging presentations and educational activities for a smooth transition to the Collat School of Business and UAB.
• Develop and deliver group presentations and workshops to promote academic success and engagement; represent the advising office at recruitment events and orientations.
• Implement student outreach strategies to support retention and degree completion, connecting students with campus resources to address academic and personal barriers.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and university offices to strengthen advising initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure policy compliance in advising interactions and student services.
