Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our service centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services, including brakes, suspension, oil changes, and tire work, while upholding high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or a combination of education, training and experience.
• Extensive personal toolbox for undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection licenses and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
• Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching and repetitive movements; ability to lift/move items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Conduct undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, and related components.
• Execute state-mandated inspections and routine maintenance like oil and filter changes and fluid checks.
• Replace worn parts and manage tire mounting/balancing as part of service delivery.
