Job summary

Mavis Tire is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our McLean, VA service center. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a broad range of automotive services, including brakes, struts, shocks, and tire work, while completing state inspections and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services.
• Handle undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
