Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our service centers in the Shamokin, PA area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks, and conduct state-mandated inspections.

You should have at least 2 years of experience or training, a toolbox of personal tools, and preferred ASE certifications; we offer competitive weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, plus

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must possess 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Must have an extensive toolbox of personal tools used for undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Carry out undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state inspections, oil changes, and parts replacement.
• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
