Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes, a leader in tire and automotive repair services, seeks experienced Automotive Mechanics for the Hazleton area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and tire services, while completing state inspections and routine maintenance.

Applicants should have 2 years of repair experience or equivalent training, own a personal tool set, and hold a state inspection license with ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5).

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Possess 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent training/education.
• Own an extensive personal toolbox for undercar work.
• State inspection license(s) and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles across a wide range of services.
• Perform undercar work including brakes, struts, shocks, and tire services.
• Complete state-mmandated inspections, oil/filters, fluids, and parts replacement.
• Dismount/mount/balance tires and ensure overall vehicle safety.
