Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in the Piedmont, SC area is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis.

You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar services, including brakes, struts, shocks, oil changes, and tire mounting/balancing, with state inspections and other duties.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience or training and an extensive personal tool kit; ASE certifications and state inspection license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair.
• Must have an extensive toolbox of personal tools.
• ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, part replacements, and tire mounting/balancing.

ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5)
