Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at a central South Carolina service center. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services, including brakes, suspension, oil changes, and tire work, in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent education.
• Extensive personal tool box for undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Carry out undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, and tire work such as dismounting, mounting, balancing and rotation.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts.
• Lifting and moving items weighing over 50 pounds; standing, bending, kneeling, and other movements as required.
