Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking a full-time Automotive Mechanic to join Team Mavis in the Allen, TX area. You will inspect, diagnose, and service vehicles, performing brakes, suspensions, oil changes, tire work, and other undercar repairs.

Bring at least 2 years of experience, a personal toolbox, and any state inspection licenses or ASE certifications. You will work in a fast-paced shop focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with legal work authorization in the United States.
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent education.
• Have an extensive personal toolbox for undercar repairs.
• Preferred ASE certifications and state inspection licenses.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services for customers’ vehicles.
• Carry out undercar repairs including brakes, suspensions, and shocks, and related inspections.
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and rotate/dismount tires.
• Lift and move items weighing 50+ pounds as required and maintain safe working practices.
