Job summary

The University of North Dakota seeks student employees for part-time maintenance positions focused on performing preventive maintenance on commercial dryers. Qualifications

  • Candidates must be UND students.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PM maintenance on commercial dryers in residential halls.
  • Clean, service, and replace dryer parts as needed.
  • Conduct emergency light testing in summer.

Job description

Salary/Position Classification
  • $14.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10-20 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability: No
Purpose of Position

Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.This is a part-time, non-benefited position.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform PM maintenance on commercial dryers in residential halls and family housing
  • Tear dyers apart, clean, and service
  • Roto brush all venting and duct work
  • Replace parts that are needed to maintain optimal equipment performance
  • Second half of summer we will perform emergency light testing

Minimum Requirements
  • Ability to safely utilize hand tools
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
  • Successful completion of the Criminal History Background Check
