Job description

Founded in 1985 by Tetsushi Mizokami, Uncle Tetsu is an international Asian-inspired bakery best known for its original Japanese Cheesecakes. The Baker is responsible for preparing all cakes, cookies, and tarts according to company recipes and standards, with accountability for:

  1. Preparing cheesecakes, cookies, and tarts to meet Uncle Tetsu standards for flavor, color, and aroma.
  2. Guiding and training Baker Assistants.
  3. Performing all Baker Assistant duties as needed.

Essential functions: The essential functions are not all-inclusive. Reliable and dependable attendance is required.

Education and Experience:

  • Some high school education.
  • Minimum one year of operations experience required.

Food Safety: Must meet local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant's own expense.
