Job description

Founded in 1985 by Tetsushi Mizokami, Uncle Tetsu is an international Asian-inspired bakery best known for its original Japanese Cheesecakes. There are over 80 Uncle Tetsu locations worldwide, each offering its signature sweet and fluffy cheesecakes marked with the Uncle Tetsu character stamp. Position: Baker

The Baker is responsible for preparing all cakes, cookies, and tarts according to company recipes and standards, with accountability for:

  1. Preparing cheesecakes, cookies, and tarts to meet Uncle Tetsu standards for flavor, color, and aroma.
  2. Guiding and training Baker Assistants.
  3. Performing all duties of a Baker Assistant.

As an Associate, you will be expected to uphold high standards of integrity and ethics to comply with all company policies. You will also maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues in an open-kitchen setting, interacting with individuals of all ages, including minors and seniors.

Essential Functions

Education and Experience
  • Some high school education.

Compensation

Pay Range: $20 - $28 per hour, based on experience and location. Individual pay within this range is determined by various factors.
