Absolute International Security is seeking a dedicated Unarmed Transit Security Guard for the Chatsworth area. This full-time, non-exempt role involves patrolling train platforms and parking areas, monitoring access points, and providing a professional security presence to protect people and property.

The position offers weekly pay, premium shift pay for holidays, and benefits including a 401(k). Applicants must be 18+, pass background checks, and have CPR/First Aid/AED and Pepper Spray

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and client requirements.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be dependable, with integrity and professional grooming.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations and unsafe behavior.
• Perform routine foot patrols of the assigned area, including train platforms and parking lots.
• Monitor entry/exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Control access points and maintain logs.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and safety concerns.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies promptly.
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and responders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times.
• Follow post orders and site protocols.
