Job summary

Prosegur is hiring a Retail Store Detective to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff. You will patrol, monitor CCTV, and enforce store policies while communicating with leadership and law enforcement as needed.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of store detective experience, be able to stand long hours, and possess CCTV experience. High school diploma required; full-time position with varying shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras to protect employees, assets and brands.
• Communicate with on-site security, law enforcement, and store leadership, and document incidents.
• Patrol premises to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence or policy violations.
• Enforce rules and respond to emergencies needing security assistance.
• Write detailed narrative reports and daily activity reports (DARs).
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity.
• Secure facility and designated areas.
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures.

Job Skills / Requirements

We’re hiring reliable, experienced, Retail Store Detectives! The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures. All positions require the ability to work retail store business hours. Regular attendance Is expected, and schedules will be offered based on the business needs and availability.

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Alertly monitor CCTV cameras focused on protecting employees, assets, and brands. This position can remotely or directly support the prevention and apprehension of external and internal theft following company policies.
• Remain calm and communicate with on-site assets protection security, law enforcement, and store leadership, while professionally documenting and escalating incidents.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
• Guard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergencies requiring security assistance
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs), including investigating and preparing reports on incidents
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
• Secure facility and designated areas
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures
• Must Have 1-2ys of Store Detective/Secret Shopper experience
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must have CCTV experience.
