Qualifications

Job description

Unarmed Security Supervisor (Secret Clearance)

KR is accepting applications for experienced Supervisory Unarmed Security Officers to provide security guard and patrol security services in Norfolk, VA.

20.34 / hour with a total compensation of $27.10

  • Total compensation includes Hourly Wage, Benefits, Holiday, Vacation, and Sick Time!

Duties / Responsibility

Supervisory Unarmed Security Officers shall perform all tasks in accordance with the duties outlined within the Post Orders and the Performance Work Statement. Duties include but are not limited to :

  • Responsible for the day-to-day security operations.
  • Assist the Project Manager with supervising the security operations.
  • Responsible for providing direct oversight and supervision of subordinate security officers.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures relating to security and ensures that all breaches of security and policy are properly reported.

  • Ensure personnel are properly uniformed and present a neat and professional appearance.
  • Ensure guards are thoroughly knowledgeable of their duties and demonstrate the ability to act effectively during emergencies and other unusual situations.
  • Ensure all requirements are enforced relative to the contract guard responsibilities, as stipulated in the Statement of Work.
  • Ensure that all guards are knowledgeable of, and understand the post orders.
  • Perform other work-related duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager.
  • Monitor the security Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).
  • Control the entry to the customer building.
  • Operate and maintain surveillance equipment.
  • Check identification badges and passes.
  • Issue security passes to all incoming visitors.
  • Perform Random Anti-terrorism Measures (RAM) entry / exit inspections.
  • Conduct building patrols of the facility.
  • Participate in scheduled security training provided by customer's security office.

Qualifications

  • Must be medically fit for duty;
  • Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English. Must be able to pass an English Language Assessment Test.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in field supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement or commercial / industrial security force service).
  • Must possess a valid US SECRET security clearance. Documented evidence of clearance is required prior to commencing work.
  • Must hold a valid and active certification in First aid and CPR.
  • Have a working knowledge of Electronic Security System (ESS) LENEL and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.
