Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex - unarmed in West Hollywood, CA. The role involves patrolling designated areas on foot or by vehicle, monitoring entrances and responding to alarms.

You will use our shift-pickup platform to view open shifts and build a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience across different industries. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour with excellent benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigations may be conducted in accordance with laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and identify issues.
• Mediation and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of infractions and control access to property.
• Escort and monitor entrances/exits for authorized individuals.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removals.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
