Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex - unarmed in North Hollywood, CA. You will use our shift-pickup platform to build a schedule around your availability and gain diverse site experience.

Pay is $18.50 per hour with excellent benefits and career growth opportunities. Responsibilities include patrols on foot or vehicle, monitoring entrances, responding to alarms, assisting clients and visitors, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check per law.
• Drug screen required.
• 18+ (21+ if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/console equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Public interaction and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
