Job summary

Allied Universal in Omaha, NE is seeking a Security Officer Patrol. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and deliver customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This full-time role offers daytime shifts, a pay rate of $18.54 per hour, training, and opportunities for growth; you will document activity, respond to incidents, and work with a team committed to safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with the orderly flow of authorized personnel and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
