Job summary

Allied Universal, Omaha, NE, is seeking an unarmed Security Officer to patrol a financial institution, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service. You will maintain security procedures, monitor access, and respond to incidents while upholding a welcoming environment.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $21.24 per hour. Candidates must meet minimum requirements, including age, education, and background checks, and may require licensing or a driver’s license for driving

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation and communicate information to leadership and clients.
