Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to protect a technology, media, and telecommunications site in Sparks, NV. You will patrol, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service while upholding site policies and procedures.

Role requires 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings. Shifts include daytime hours and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card/licence preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and vendors following site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly per post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents for leadership.
