Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Presence) in Sparks, NV. You will provide customer service and maintain a visible security presence at a technology/data-center site, deterring incidents and reporting concerns.

Responsibilities include routine interior/exterior patrols, access verification, and prompt incident response. Must have HS diploma and pass background screening; drug test may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo a background investigation, in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a technology/data-center site and follow security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas and monitor access points.
• Verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms, escalating when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and shift activities in required reports.
