Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Arden, NC. The role involves patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing professional customer service to deter incidents. Position type: Full Time.

Pay rate: $18.00/hour. Typical night schedule Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with site-specific shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols across production areas, warehouses, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, report unusual activity to site leadership.
• Document incidents and security activities accurately per site requirements.
