Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Client Services in Salt Lake City, UT. The role requires conducting patrols, assisting employees and visitors, and maintaining a secure environment at a major logistics site.

You will monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while providing excellent customer service and clear communication using company systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with computers/tablets is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe package-handling and transportation areas for security-related concerns and communicate findings to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Customer service experience

Comfortable using computer/tablet

X-ray screening experience (preferred)
