Job summary

Allied Universal in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Security Guard (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) to monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and support access control at a commercial real estate site. You will deliver courteous service to tenants and visitors while following site procedures.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, ability to use computers or tablets, and a high school diploma. CPR is preferred, and a drug screen and background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to background investigation as per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and report as required.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/badge authorization, and maintain activity/incident logs.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, and leadership regarding observations and service needs.
