Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response in Los Angeles, CA. You will provide customer service, patrol designated areas, and respond to incidents at a premier commercial real estate location.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor access points, document logs, and communicate observations to site personnel while upholding Allied Universal's commitment to safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security‑related observations.
