Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to work full time in Orlando, FL. You will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors while maintaining a secure environment.

The role requires strong observation, quick decision-making, and the ability to follow site procedures. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law, with licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by following site procedures and responding to incidents when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access-related activity in clear and accurate reports.
