Job summary

Allied Universal is recruiting for a Security Guard full-time unarmed patrol position in Jeffersonville, IN. You will guard client sites, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires CPR/First Aid in some cases, high school diploma, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. Driving positions require a valid license; schedule includes multiple weekday shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate observations clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
