Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Aid in Jeffersonville, IN. You will perform unarmed patrols, handle access control, monitor perimeters, and respond to incidents with professionalism at a technology-focused site.

You will deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors, document activities, and follow site procedures. The role requires 18+ with a high school diploma and passing background/drug checks.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Support a professional and welcoming environment by providing directions and reporting observed concerns.
