Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed TWIC Driver Patrol) in Tacoma, WA. The role involves patrolling manufacturing and industrial locations, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering excellent customer service.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, TSA TWIC credential, and at least 6 months of security experience. High school diploma or equivalent required. Pay is $20.00 per hour with schedule options under the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months security-related experience.
• TWIC credential required by TSA.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies with calm, clear reporting.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain orderly entry/exit procedures.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports with clear observations.
