Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Santa Fe Springs, CA to protect tenants and properties. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence and high service standards.

Responsibilities include documenting events, coordinating with management, and ensuring safety compliance. A valid driver’s license and background screening are required, with state licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; drug screen where permitted.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following site procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial properties, parking areas, access points, common areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, observe and report unusual conditions, and maintain awareness of activity in assigned areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, problem-solving approach per established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
