Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Distribution Center Patrol Services in Hampstead, MD to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution locations. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security observations with clear communication and a customer-focused approach.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a high school diploma, able to pass background and drug screening, and willing to obtain necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe delivery, shipping, and employee traffic in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
