Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a Distribution Center in Sparrows Point, MD. You will provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols, and help deter security incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting observations, and supporting a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Minimums: 18+; HS diploma; background check; drug screen; license where required; driver’s license for driving roles.

Qualifications

• The minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits and vehicle traffic and document visitor activity.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol activities and communicate to leadership and site contacts.
