Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Omaha, NE. You will provide customer service, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining logs in a financial institution environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 20+ pounds, and comfort using a computer or tablet; background check and drug screen are required where permissible by law. Salary is $19.00 per hour with evening shifts.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and responding agencies.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding agencies while supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
