Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Readiness in Honolulu, HI to safeguard clients across commercial real estate sites. You will conduct patrols, maintain visibility, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

You will respond to incidents calmly, document observations, and communicate with site management. This full-time role offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and opportunities for growth within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and parking patrons by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, garages, access points, common areas, and the surrounding property to help identify unusual activity, parking concerns, and maintenance issues.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian activity, report unauthorized parking, damaged equipment, or suspicious circumstances, and document observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
