Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state/local rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
