Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring Unarmed Licensed Indoor Security Officers in Wilmington, North Carolina. We are recruiting professional unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.

$16/h paid weekly. Retirees and Veterans are welcome. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Schedules:

• Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday @ 5 pm - 11 pm
• Friday - Saturday @ 11 am - 5 pm
• Monday and Tuesday @ 5 pm - 11 pm

An active North Carolina Unarmed Guard Card is required.

Prior law enforcement experience, military experience, and/or 2 years of unarmed security experience are a plus.

You will help prevent and deter crime through:

• Performing regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
• Performing control procedures when necessary
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property

You must meet the following requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Sound communication skills
• Professional presentation
• Ability to work as a team member and independently
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, 7 days a week
• Reliable transportation
• Active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screening

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate clearly and quickly in emergencies
• Ability to read and interpret written information
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle if required
• Ability to detect sounds relevant to emergencies against background noise
• Physical ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs waist-high if required
• Good mental health and ability to make quick decisions in emergencies
• Meet physical and mental requirements for licensing in the respective state(s)
