Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring in Columbus, Georgia. We are recruiting professional unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our team.

Pay is $15 per hour, paid weekly.

Shift time: 2200-0600, Friday-Sunday.

Qualifications: Must be at least 25 years old, have a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will have prior law enforcement experience, military experience, and/or 2 years of unarmed security experience. Retirees and veterans are welcome.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing regular and random patrols of premises.
• Reporting security incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Performing control procedures when necessary.
• Operating emergency equipment.
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports.
• Investigating property breaches.

Minimum requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Sound communication skills and professional presentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Reliable transportation and active cellphone.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.

Physical and mental requirements:

• Effective communication skills, especially in emergencies.
• Ability to read, interpret, and respond to written information.
• Ability to operate a vehicle if required.
• Ability to detect sounds related to emergencies.
• Physical ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good mental health to make quick decisions in emergencies.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for security officers.
