Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to help maintain safety and security at our facility. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring patrols, monitoring, and prompt responses to security concerns with a professional presence.

The position offers two 40-hour shifts (6:00 AM–2:00 PM and 10:00 PM–6:00 AM) with weekend availability. Pay is $15.91 per hour, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security experience.
• Open and weekend availability.
• A valid driver’s license and/or satisfactory MVR may be required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas, including walking or vehicle patrols.
• Monitor for security threats, hazards, or emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Provide site-specific support, such as lobby/visitor reception, loss prevention, or loading dock security.
• Prepare accurate incident and activity reports.
• Follow all company policies, emergency procedures, and Use of Force guidelines.
• Represent the company with professionalism, including maintaining appearance and customer service standards.

About the Role
