Job summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Pottsville, PA. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by performing patrols, monitoring for risks, and providing excellent customer service.

Pay: $16.32 per hour. Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 7:00am to 7:00pm. This Full-Time role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, background check, and required state licenses as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of work experience preferred (security, law enforcement, military, or customer service).
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening (if required).
• Must possess any required state licenses/permits for security work.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.
• Ability to operate a vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle if needed.
• Must maintain all required certifications throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform foot, vehicle, bicycle, or golf cart patrols of assigned areas.
• Identify and report security risks, safety hazards, or emergency situations.
• Monitor premises and enforce site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service and assist visitors, staff, and clients as needed.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with company policies.
• Complete detailed, accurate, and timely incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Follow all company standards, including attendance, appearance, and conduct.
• Participate in required training and orientation programs.
