Candidates should be 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., with reliable transportation and willingness to work nights, weekends, or holidays. Preferred candidates may have prior security experience; training and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Virginia unarmed security officer registration required or able to complete the registration and training process.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to the Hartfield worksite.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods during security duties.
• Clear communication and ability to follow directions from supervisors.
• Be dependable, punctual, and willing to follow company rules.
• Availability for shifts that may include nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Must meet background-screening and client-specific hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Walk through assigned areas to check for unusual activity or possible security risks.
• Monitor entrances, parking areas, and other important locations.
• Check visitors and confirm permission to enter restricted areas when required.
• Observe security cameras and alarm systems where applicable.
• Report suspicious behavior, damaged property, unsafe conditions, and rule violations.
• Respond professionally to disagreements or disturbances and request assistance when needed.
• Contact the supervisor or emergency services when a situation requires additional support.
• Write down important events, patrol observations, and incidents in required reports.
• Follow instructions for the assigned location and complete all duties.
• Maintain a respectful attitude toward employees, visitors, customers, and coworkers.
