Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Warehouse Facility in Denver, CO. You will provide security services, monitor access, and assist visitors and staff in a fast-paced technology and logistics environment.

Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Document patrol observations and incidents and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
