Job summary

Prosegur Smyrna, TN is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for the truck gate. The role covers 3rd shift with weekend hours, requiring vigilance at the gate, badge checks, and incident reporting.

You will patrol, monitor access, and enforce site rules to ensure safety and security. Candidates should hold a High School Diploma and an Unarmed Security License, with TN State Guard License eligibility noted.

Qualifications

• TN State Guard License may be required/obtained.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
• Request identification and required documents as per SOP from Truck Driver's at guard shack entrance.
• Log Truck tags on clipboard/or designated systems.
• Must have the ability to walk back and forth from Truck to Guard shack frequently.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs).
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity.
• Enforce facility policies and procedures.
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents.

3rd Shift (9 PM - 5 AM) - Saturday and Sunday

3rd Shift (5 AM - 5 PM) - Saturday and Sunday

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:
