SecTek, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the Thames/Baltimore site in Baltimore, MD. The role involves patrolling indoors, monitoring for issues, and following standard operating procedures to ensure safety.

This is a full-time 3rd-shift position with weekend work, requiring extensive standing and walking, and the ability to perform outdoor duties when moving between buildings. The officer will liaise with security and facilities teams as needed.

Qualifications

• MD Guard Card required.

Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed SOPs for basic and emergency responses.
• Liaise with security and building management to communicate, elevate, and solve problems.
• Indoor patrols to check for physical damage, water damage, leaks and secure bathrooms.
• Extensive walking and scanning checkpoints.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in varying weather, moving between buildings.
• Foot patrol between buildings.

Security Duties :

Following prescribed Standard Operating Procedures for basic and emergency responses

• Liaising with security and building management to communicate, elevate, and solve problems
• Indoor patrol of buildings (only) checking for physical damage, water damage, leaking pipes, bathrooms secure
• Extensive walking (down stairs only) and scanning check points
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (not standing outdoors; just walking from building to building next door)
• Foot Patrol
