Allied Universal in Stamford, CT is seeking a Security Officer Central Business Office to safeguard clients across tech/telecom sites. You will patrol, monitor entrances, assist employees and visitors, and uphold site policies with professionalism.

This full-time, unarmed role offers a daytime to night schedule with multiple shifts and a pay rate of $19.11 per hour. Allied Universal emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a culture of service, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Formación

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, tenants, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and emergency responders, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
