Job summary

Allied Universal in Reno, NV is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Unarmed - Secure Storage to join a dynamic team. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service in a technology, media, and telecommunications setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
