Allied Universal in Reno, NV is hiring a Security Officer - Unarmed - Asset Safeguarding to deter incidents through a visible security presence and provide excellent service to employees and visitors.

You will perform routine interior and exterior patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents with professionalism. You will join a team that values caring, innovation, teamwork, and integrity on every shift.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Aufgaben

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common spaces, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, communicate shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.
