Job summary

Prosegur is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for swing shift. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff, observing for hazards, and reporting incidents in a professional manner. Requires 18+ years, a HS diploma or GED, and a valid driver license.

Applicants should have strong English communication, basic computer skills, and be willing to undergo background checks and drug screening. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Unarmed Security Officer - Swing Shift(Guarding)

Job Skills / Requirements

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Physical Requirements: This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be available to work six days a week, on at least two different shifts
• Understand that you may be called into work with little or no notice
• Understand that as a flex, no regular schedule or advanced schedules are guaranteed

• Pay Rate: $23.00
