Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for Social Circle, GA. The role emphasizes customer service, screening and monitoring activities, and incident reporting on-site. Candidates should be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain the Georgia security certificate.

The job requires English fluency and physical ability to patrol and lift heavy items. Experience in door staff or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant roles preferred.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Able to obtain 24hr Georgia security certificate.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing patrols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine physical patrols of the facility interior, server rows, loading docks, and exterior perimeters to identify vulnerabilities or safety hazards.
• Act as first responder to security breaches, alarms, medical emergencies, or facility issues, coordinating with management and local authorities as needed.
• Greet visitors, assist employees, answer general inquiries, and professionally handle incoming calls.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and draft incident reports for security or safety events.
• Be proficient with handheld electronic devices for report writing, data logging, and daily tracking.
• Be comfortable with regular post rotation between active patrols and stationary monitoring.

Flex / Regular Security Officers

Starting Pay $ 20.00

Customer Service experience or Security experience required

Must be able to work various shifts, may include weekends

Responsibilities

of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Physical Patrols: Conduct routine foot patrols of the facility interior, server rows, loading docks, and exterior perimeters to identify vulnerabilities or safety hazards.
• Incident Response: Act as a first responder to security breaches, alarms, medical emergencies, or facility issues, coordinating with management and local authorities as needed.
• Customer Service: Provide a welcoming environment by greeting visitors, assisting employees, answering general inquiries, and professionally handling incoming phone calls.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs and draft comprehensive incident reports for any security or safety events.
• Device Proficiency: Must be comfortable using handheld electronic devices for report writing, logging data, and daily tracking.
• Post Rotation if Required: Must be comfortable with regular post rotation at the site, which includes alternating between active foot patrols and stationary monitoring stations.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire 24hr Georgia, security certificate
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Some Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
