Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is seeking dedicated Security Officers for our New Albany, OH team. You will provide customer service, monitor cameras, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe environment for the property and occupants.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered on duty.
• Maintain clear logs for incident reports, visitors check‑ins, and property.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and ensure safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, recording data for buildings.
• Rover: foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior.
• Gate Officer: check in visitors, inspect vehicles, manage access control.

SECURITY OFFICERS

Responsibilities of Security Officers

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs pertaining to incident reports, visitors check in's, and property.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for buildings
• Other duties as assigned
• Rover : Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
• Gate Officer: Checking in visitors, contractors, inspecting vehicles, access control

Required Qualifications of Security Officers

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs., completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus
