Job summary

Prosegur in Mt. Juliet, TN is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for part-time shifts, including 2nd shift on weekdays and 1st shift on weekends. You will monitor entrances, patrol property, and enforce security policies on site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and strong English communication. Must obtain TN State Guard License if not already held.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older (implied by '18+ years of age' requirement).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in screening including drug screen and background check.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TN State Guard License.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Enforce rules, respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.
• Escort individuals as needed and provide personal protection or removal from property.
• Write detailed reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs).
• Provide courteous assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity and secure designated areas.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.

Schedule : Part-Time

Thursday and Friday - 2nd Shift ( 1230-1800), & Saturday and Sunday - 1st Shift ( 4:30am-12:30pm ),

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
• Guard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance
• Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer property
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
• Secure facility and designated areas
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents
